1. What we collect
- Account info — your name and email, and whatever else you give us (like a phone number).
- Your items — photos you take and the listing details created from them.
- Transactions — sales, offers, payouts, and shipping details. Payment and identity verification data (card numbers, bank accounts, government ID) goes directly to Stripe, our payment processor; we don't store it.
- Usage data — device information and how you use the app, so we can fix bugs and improve the product.
2. How we use it
To run Offload: identify your items, generate and publish listings, negotiate with buyers, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud, and message you about your sales. If you joined the waitlist, we use your email to tell you about the launch.
3. AI listing generation
When you snap a photo of an item, we send that photo to OpenRouter, Inc., the AI service that powers our listing agent, where it is processed by model providers such as Anthropic to identify your item and write your listing. That is the only thing your photos are used for. They are not used to train AI models, and no other personal data (like your name or email) is sent to our AI providers.
4. What we share
We share data only with service providers who help us operate — payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (Cloudflare), and AI services (OpenRouter and its model providers, such as Anthropic) — plus buyers, who see your listings (that's the point), and authorities when the law requires it. Every provider we use is required to protect your data to at least the same standard we hold ourselves to. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as we need it for legal and tax reasons. Want your account and data deleted? Email us and we'll take care of it.
6. Children
Offload is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
As the product evolves this policy will too. Material changes get a new date above and a notice in the app.
